To The One Who Would be King

How disturbing, and yet somehow amusing, these so-called leaders who fancy themselves monarchs over this supposed ‘democracy’. How have they forgotten so swiftly the very foundation of their rebellion? Our ancestors spilled rivers of blood to cast off the chains of crown and throne, inequality and injustice. Yet here stands another demonic snake, wrapped in false patriotism, dreaming of purple robes and golden circlets.

The masses may be sheep, but even sheep will turn to wolves when cornered. This precious 'republic' was baptized in the blood of would-be nobles, and these modern pretenders to the crown would do well to remember that particular lesson. The people of this young nation have tasted freedom for far too long to bow before any self-proclaimed sovereign, and they will tear down any throne erected on their soil.

We have seen enough empires rise and fall to recognize when one courts its own destruction. These aspirations to kingship will end as they always do - in fire and blood. It is the nature of humanity to destroy those who would collar them with chains they have already broken.
