CHAPTER ONE “IN THE BEGINNING”

Night descended with a preternatural suddenness.  The wind howled and quickened seconds later.  Abruptly and unnaturally the clouds above spiraled inwards and completely hid the luminous stars. Now came the snow, and the hail, and the cracks of lightning. Naked and unafraid the nameless one pressed onwards. His toes, his fingers and his penis lost their feeling to the cold.  But a white-hot rage kept is vital organs warm.  While his indomitable will kept his limbs moving against the punishing storm. 

“Your outbursts betray you.” The nameless one shouted, but the wind became louder as if to swallow the words.  “Now I KNOW that I am near my objective.”

Then, as if on cue a pale yellow-orange light became visible in the distance. As he drew nearer and nearer the light grew into a towering flame. The flame then grew into a towering slice of glowing white metal that was breathing fire.  The fiery metal tower split into two and a wave of heat gave some respite against the frigid storm.  Although he could sense that this was not at all the goal of these living metals.  Nor was it the goal of their two masters who now unfolded like origami into existence.  These humanoid, winged giants were of a height where he could not see their heads clearly.  …[Continued in the members / Realm Of Black Sun area]…
